The Alberta World War Living History Association
Our History
The Alberta World War Living History Association was founded in 2021 by members from all over Alberta to educate the public about Canada's Military History from the foundations of Canada to present day. Our association portrays, and is not limited to, the Royal Highland Regiment of Canada (The Black Watch), and the Canada's Nursing Sisters. We personalize the aspects of living history and tell history through a first-person perspective with absolute authenticity.
Our Vision
To be the premier organization in Alberta linking the public with veterans of the Canadian Military and keeping their stories alive through public interactions, literature, art, and historical representation.
Our Mission
-
The Community
The primary purpose of AWWLHA’s mission to the Community is to be a link between the Military, Canada's Military history, the Community, and to respond to their mutual interests.
